Special Events: July 2015

From July 3rd to July 5th you can visit the splendor of London’s Olympic Park in Stratford as it plays host to the Wireless Festival. Music festivals are considered a right of passage during the summertime for the English. Glastonbury is the most famous of the British festivals but smaller festivals in more accessible locations have started cropping up around the capital in recent years. Wireless Festival is one of the more popular festivals. It used to be held in Hyde Park but, because it has grown so quickly, it was relocated to Olympic park in 2014. Although the 2015 lineup has yet to be announced, 2014’s lineup featured artists such as Drake, Kanye West, Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake, Calvin Harris and Jay Z. With so much star power in one event you can imagine that tickets go quickly so be sure to snag yours early on the Wireless Festival website. Tickets should start at £65 and there are more luxurious hospitality packages available if you’re looking to splash a bit more cash for comfort!
