The View from the Shard

The View from the Shard

London is known for its history but that does not mean that the capital’s skyline is not changing. The Shard, one of Europe’s tallest buildings, was opened to the public just a couple of years ago and has quickly become one of London’s most loved tourist attractions.

Prepare for the most breathtaking and magical moments ever as you enter the state-of-the-art lifts that take you to the top. The viewing gallery on the 69th floor unveils a 360-degree view of London with dozens of famous London landmarks and wonderful parks right in front of you. They say you can even spot Windsor Castle on a clear day! There are interactive displays that you can manoeuvre to view different areas, zoom in and out and even see what the area would have looked like in the past.

Go up to an open-air viewing deck on the 72nd floor of the Shard and expose yourself to the smells and sounds of London from 244m above ground.  You are welcome to stay as much as you like so you can spend ages finding places of interest or just enjoying the view. Which offers great value compared to similar London’s attractions. There is also a bar to buy drinks from to help you enjoy your time.

Whether it is sunrise or sunset the Shard gives London a completely different perspective and if you are not lucky with the weather you get a free ticket to return within the next 3 months.
