How does the day look like?
We will start with an extensive panoramic tour of London going past the famous landmarks and areas of London such as Marble Arch, Mayfair, Piccadilly, Leicester Square, the celebrated ‘theatre district’ of the Strand, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London. The tour will also go over the London Bridge and Westminster Bridge, and pass the well-known London Eye, the historic Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Downing Street. The first stop is Household Cavalry Museum where you will have an opportunity to exchange greetings with an official Household Guards trooper as well as take photos of yourself and your family wearing red tunics of the regiment. Next is the iconic image of London – Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace (or Horseguards Parade when this ceremony is not available). We will next move to the City of London where we will visit St. Paul’s Cathedral. The guide will walk you through the cathedral and you will visit the Quire which is open exclusively for our tour. You will then have an opportunity to have lunch at one of traditional English pubs next to the Tower of London (at your own cost). Next stop is the Tower of London which during 1000 years of its history was a royal palace, a prison, a mint and even a zoo. You will also see the Crown Jewels and talk to Beefeaters, the ceremonial guardians of the Tower. You will then take a River Cruise from the Tower Pier to the London Eye. The route will take you past the most recognizable landmarks of London and you will get the best view of these remarkable sights from the River Thames. Our last stop is the London Eye. This is truly the best way to end the tour of London. You will get unparalleled views across London and beyond so please keep your camera handy!
