Kensington Palace

Do you know where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge live? You will be surprised! The official residence of Prince William and Kate Middleton is very modest by royal standards. William and Kate have turned Kensington Palace into a real family home for themselves and little George.

Of course the private quarters are closed to the public but you can still see the rest of the beautiful palace. The public areas of the palace include the legendary Red Salon, where the young Queen Victoria held the first meeting of her government, the luxurious throne of Prince Frederik, drawing rooms, majestic state apartments and personal artifacts and diaries that belonged to Queen Victoria. There is also a selection of haute couture dresses which were worn by Elizabeth II, her sister Princess Margaret and Princess Diana.
